A deposit may be required to reserve your moving date, crew and related scheduling resources with Meticulous Movers. The deposit amount depends on the type and size of the move and will be explained before payment is requested.
Paying Your Deposit
Electronic payment options may include PayPal, credit or debit card where available, Venmo, Zelle, Google Pay and Apple Pay. Electronic payments are subject to the applicable 3.25% processing fee. Confirm your date, pickup location, destination and deposit amount before submitting payment.
Cancellation Policy
If a confirmed move is cancelled after the cancellation deadline stated in your written estimate, invoice or booking confirmation, the deposit is non-refundable and will be forfeited. This is because the date, crew and resources were reserved for your move.
Rescheduling
If plans change, call Meticulous Movers as soon as possible. When scheduling allows, a deposit may be transferred to a newly confirmed move date. A requested new date is not reserved until Meticulous Movers confirms it directly.
If Meticulous Movers Must Cancel
If Meticulous Movers must cancel a confirmed move and an acceptable replacement date cannot be arranged, the deposit paid for that move will be refunded in full.
Before Paying a Deposit
- Confirm your contact information.
- Confirm the moving date.
- Confirm the pickup and destination information.
- Confirm the type and general size of the move.
- Identify specialty items or difficult access.
- Confirm the deposit amount and cancellation deadline shown in writing.
